Training for a Sensitive BodySeminar January 2019Continuous workshop first semester 2019Facilitates Camila Rojas Cannobbio
The aim of this training is to explore consciousness, power and body expression through somatic practice. We will investigate from our anatomy the possibilities of body movement. Then that first experience is conducted outside its limits and resistances, from a joyful and energetic space from improvisation exercises, and from free and guided imagery. From this practice we seek to develop alignment, flexibility, stability and resistance in order to acquire a greater body sensitivity, that is, a perceptive body, aware and available to move in space, with other bodies and with itself.
The workshop is focused for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with the body and its mobility regardless of their previous experience.
Laboratory: “Spectator Authors”
Within the framework of the project “If I can't dance, your revolution doesn't interest me”, the Co-inspiring collective will carry out a series of laboratories on audience participation strategies for creation in dance.
The group will direct the sessions by proposing strategies that guide the experimentation, and the participants will be co-creators of the instance. In each session, attendees will be invited to participate in choreographic exercises that explore the movement in relation to sound and costumes.
How does sound and costumes affect the ways in which we move and interact with others? In what way can kinesthetic states of collective enjoyment be generated through sound and costumes? These questions will be the starting point for experiencing new mobility, the enjoyment of the moving body and the sense of community.
Aimed at people from 16 to 65+ years old (no dance experience required). Free activity upon registration, limited spaces.
